Joana C. Prata, DVM PhD, is an Invited Auxiliary Professor at University Institute of Health Sciences – CESPU (IUCS-CESPU) and at Abel Salazar Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS-UP) . Dr Prata has a degree and master’s in Veterinary Medicine (2016) from University of Porto, being certified by the Portuguese Veterinarians Board, and a PhD in Biology and Ecology of Global Changes with a specialization in Environmental Biology and Health (2021) from the University of Aveiro. Her main research fields are One Health, Veterinary Sciences, Environmental Health, Contaminants, and Microplastics.
