The climate threat to human health

«As the first of three virtual hearings of the Pan-European Commission on Climate and Health, this hearing will focus on the public health threats faced by Member States and populations in the WHO European Region. The discussion will centre on the impacts of climate change on human health and well-being, acknowledging the planetary changes driving these threats and irreversible tipping points.

The hearing aims to understand the threats that climate change poses to public health and determine converging risks interconnected with climate-induced health risks, the implications of reaching climate tipping points and the health implications of inaction.»
