The 4th MOPT Conference: Spatial Modeling for Sustainable Cities and Territories invites participants to reflect on a central question: How can spatial modeling and geotechnologies support the design of more sustainable, equitable, and intelligent urban and territorial systems?

This conference aims to:

• Foster critical discussion around theoretical and applied research in spatial and land use modeling for sustainable urban and territorial development;
• Highlight how quantitative and computational geographies are evolving in response to the technological revolution driven by AI, remote sensing, and big geospatial data;
• Promote dialogue between curiosity-driven science and real-world planning challenges;

Showcase innovative tools and methods that contribute to more sustainable decision-making in urban and spatial planning.
